Group exercise is a great way to get or stay in shape, meet friends and achieve your fitness goals.  Our certified instructors provide motivation, excitement and a challenging environment for all levels of fitness, with a variety of classes to fit your lifestyle.  Several examples are cited below.  For more information on specific classes, please check with the Fitness Desk.

Body Flow

A beautiful combination of Tai chi, yoga,and Pilates that builds flexibility and strength while leaving you centered and calm.Controlled breathing with carefully structured series of stretches,moves,and poses put to music;create a holistic workout thet brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

Body Step

The energizing step workout that makes you feel liberated and alive.Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on,over and around the step you get huge motivation from sing-a-long music and approachable instructors. Cardio blocks push fat burning systems into high gear followed by muscle conditioning tracks that shape and tone your body.

ZUMBA

A dynamic,exciting,and effective fitness class fusing Latin & International rhythms to easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program.

Pilates

A whole body workout that develops long, lean and toned muscles and full range of motion. The gained strength, flexibility, alignment, muscle balance and physical awareness that follows a Pilates program can help prevent future risks of injury while performing all types of physical activity

Ashtanga Yoga

Learn the basics of Ashtanga yoga that will help you prepare for a more devolped practice. Improve your strength, flexibility, endurance and focus.

Mat Pilates

Intelligent exercise to develop a balanced and aligned body.

Combat Conditioning Bootcamp

A 4-week session - This is a High Intensity, rapid-paced 45 minute Boot Camp style class using body weight and/or light weights intended to jump start your summer body. Participants move through circuits (evolutions) of exercise giant-sets with little rest between. Please be advised: while exercise volume and execution can be modified for the individual, this is a very demanding workout. This is not a martial arts class.

Ladies Self Defense

A 4-week course introducing ladies to basic techniques of self defense, including awareness, mental strategy, escape, physical personal protection, and pickup weapons.
